The Life-Changing Power of DISCIPLINE! (w/ Erik Allen)

“The secret to being happy: If you open your eyes, you’ve been blessed with another day. GRATITUDE.” – Erik Allen

So I recently sat down with entrepreneur and avid podcaster Erik Allen (@erikgallen) to talk about the lessons he learned throughout his personal journey as both a father and a son. During his younger days, Erik faced a lot of demons and struggled out of his addictions. He was jailed at the age of 18 and went bankrupt when he turned 21, and felt as if his life wasn’t going anywhere if he stayed in that cycle. After waking up and seeing his friends still passed out from the party the night before, he realized that it was time for a change.

Now 16 years sober with a beautiful wife and two kids, Erik emerged to achieve the future he set himself to reach. He now helps aspiring MMA fighters and other entrepreneurs get connected and gain traction on the internet. Despite growing up in a broken home, past demons, and overwhelming debt, he overcame every single obstacle that life tried to throw his way. He’s a winner, and he has two things to thank for it: Faith, and DISCIPLINE.

Enjoy the episode everyone!
