Episode 99 – The Power of Having a Vision (w/ Gloria & Horiany)
*******
Here we finally are, down to the 99th episode! It has been an absolutely amazing 100 episodes, and before we make our way to the anticipated 100th podcast, I’d like to first recall episode 46, featuring Gloria and Horiany!
“You need to keep going, even if things start to go wrong.” – Gloria & Horiany
You’ve probably already heard of the phrase “If there’s a will, there’s a way.” This can’t be any truer in the subject of having a clear, specific vision of yourself and your future. If you’re able to maintain a clear view of your goals and dreams, you’ll eventually project it into your very own reality. This- as we already know- isn’t a walk in the park. You’ll face many challenges and hurdles to scale, and your grit will be tested. One thing is true for all cases, however: As long as there is perseverance, you will prevail.
Throughout different careers and different timelines, we’ve had great examples of successful people who were able to envision themselves, and make that vision come true. Many of you who regularly watch my podcast would definitely be familiar with Jim Carrey, and the nights he spent driving in Los Angeles and envisioning all sorts of movie directors fiddling on their phones to star him in their next blockbuster. Another good example is Demi Lovato! On a tweet back in 2010, she told herself that she’d be singing at a super bowl one day. And there she was, a decade later in 2020, singing exactly where she told herself she’d sing!
But not all heroes wear capes, and not all success stories have to be shining under the light of fame. On this episode, I invited entrepreneurs Gloria & Horiany to talk about the struggles they went through in Venezuela, fighting tooth and nail against all kinds of challenges. They explain how their success was worth all of the lightless nights they worked through without a single flicker of electricity. As long as they maintained the vision in their minds, they were dedicated to seeing their business’s growth through.
Now a dynamic duo with a skyrocketing business in Aruba, Gloria and Horiany overcame the ocean of seemingly impossible problems that tided their way. Mas Temporada Alta, their video marketing agency, now runs at full capacity to help many companies market their brand through online promotions and video advertisements. Having an international reach, they’re able to provide their services across Aruba, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, The Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and the US.
Tune in as we talk about the very minute details, going through all twists, turns, and learns of their journey from near-defeat to absolute success on this old but gold episode of The Commit First Podcast!
